The Wests Hockey Club 2012 season Hockey Sign on will be held at the Townsville Hockey Clubhouse from 1 to 5pm on Sunday 29 January 2012. All old, current and new players welcome.

15-8-11 - Wests Hockey Club Award Life membership to Ken McElligott and Gary Davey
Wests Hockey Club has awarded Life membership to long term Club member Ken McElligott. Ken has held coaching, playing and administration roles with Wests Hockey club over many years. Ken's Life membership was awarded to him at the Clubs junior Picnic, in front of his wife, daughter and grand daughters. A well deserved honour for a life long club man.
At the Wests Senior Club break-up, The Club awarded Gary Davey Life membership of Wests for all the work he has done for the Coub over many years. Congratulations Gary a well deserved award.

10-9-11 - Wests Win Div 1,3 and 5 ladies and J1 and J2 Girls
Congratulations to our Div 1,3 and 5 ladies teams who won their grand finals. Div 1 ladies beat parks 5-1. Our Div 3 ladies won in 40 minutes of drop offs, Div 5 ladies won in strokes.
Congratulations to our Div 1 men who lost in drop offs and also our div 4 men who lost narrowly. well done also to our div 4 ladies who lost their grand final.
Congratulations to the J1 Girls who won their grand final 3-1. Well played girls. For 4 of the team its the end of their Junior Hockey, after winnning 8 consecutive Grand finals. Congratulations to Abbie, steph amd maddy who all won THA awards
